Daniel R. Cole of Loyalsock Township, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at his home. He was a son of Albert Elery and Mary Heggenstaller Cole.
Dan’s most recent employment was with Susquehanna Heath. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, but his biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, and all his family. He enjoyed making items from recycled wood and also had a knack for drawing characters which was a source of amusement for his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his brothers, Albert Jr., Neal Thomas and Curt Cole.
He is survived by his wife the former, Jody A. Thomas, with whom he would have been married 38 years in May; his daughter, Kristen A. (Keith) Campbell, of South Williamsport; 2 grandchildren, brothers, Larry (Cathy) Cole, of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Mike (Penny) Cole, of Hancock, Md. and Charlie (Karen) Cole, of Lansdale; sisters, Sandy (Rich) Hughes, of Las Vegas, Nev., Jayne Austin, of Williamsport, Sue (Dave) Zimmerman, of Sayre, Mickey Cole (Neal Smith), of Montoursville, Nancy (Thom) Harman, of Williamsport; and father and mother-in-law, Earl and Lorraine Thomas, of Holidaysburg.
Interment: Montoursville Cemetery.
