Minnie Lou Jackson, 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2017, at Beacon Baptist Church, 1622 Kirkpatrick Rd, Burlington, NC 27215. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Minnie was born on December 4, 1927 in Dobson, NC to the late Ransom and Ida Key. She attended Bessemer High School. Minnie enjoyed making porcelain dolls and teaching doll making. She always had a lot of friends, loved her domino girls who play each month, her church family at Beacon Baptist Church in Burlington, and loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, Sharon and Kenny Key and Kathy and Mickey Currie.

In addition to her parents Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Norris William Jackson; brothers, Herman Key, Conard Key, Rubin Key, Kenneth Key and Leonard Key; sister, Verona Hamby; and infant grandson, Joey Jackson.

She is survived by her children, Patricia J. Quesinberrry (Charles) of High Point, Norris William Jackson, Jr. (Lynn) of Clemmons, and Linda J. Hipps (Steve) of Prosperity, SC; brother, John Key of Greensboro; grandchildren, Laurie Foust (Brian), Karen Cook (Carlton), and Brad Quesinberry (Jennifer); as well as eight great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank all the friends, relatives and neighbors for all of their love and support.
