Born in Orange County, Texas, on October 6, 1920, she was the daughter of Tojan and Maria (Linscomb) Frederick.
Verna was a member of First Baptist Church in Mauriceville where she taught Sunday School for many years and was active in the Senior Citizens Group. She was a talented, accomplished artist and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, O.D. Hutto; along with all of her siblings.
Verna is survived by her children, William (Bill) Hutto and wife Myra, Sara Thompson, and Jane Hutto; eight grandchildren; along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
