She was born December 2, 1951 the daughter of the late Edward and Cana (Vanover) Yancey. She was a school bus driver and firefighter for the forest service.
Her parents; husband, Roger Schultz; brothers, Clell Yancey and Jimmy Helton; sisters, Joyce Lyons Vanover, Ruth Hickman, Edda Rose, and Aileen Sumler; and grandson, Chad Schultz precede her in death.
Survivors include her son, Robert Schultz of Whitley City, Kentucky, daughter, Carrie Nicholas and husband, Terry of Richmond, Kentucky; brothers, Doyle Yancey and Reed Yancey both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; and sisters, Elva Dean Hughes of Greenwood, Kentucky, Glenna Mae Stanton of Somerset, Kentucky, Lois Coffey of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Wanda Owens of Parkers Lake, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Aleah Schultz, Tesa Stephens, and Brandon Wright also survive.
