Sherry A. Murphy, 52, 2426 E. County Road 750-N, Springport, died Thursday in Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Murphy, who was born in Muncie, graduated from Gaston High School in 1959 and Indiana Business College.
She was an administrative assistant at Alltrista Corp. and had previously been employed at Ball Corp.
Mrs. Murphy was a member of High Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John W. Murphy; a son, Michael J. Murphy, at home; two brothers, Stan Sollars, Indianapolis, and Steve Sollars, Los Angeles, Calif., and a niece.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Anne Murphy, who died in 1984.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in High Street United Methodist Church, with Dr. Thomas Rough officiating. Entombment will be in Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie. Calling at the church will be after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Meeks Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
