Herbert Don Adams, 67, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg Florida. He was the husband of Sandy Adams for 39 years. Born on February 19, 1950 in Whitesburg, Kentucky he was the son of the late Hebert and Thelma (Boggs) Adams. He was a long time employee with Silver Springs Citrus and retired in 2015. He was a member of the Eagles Club of Leesburg, Florida. He enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes, corn hole, bowling and playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.
Don will be deeply missed by his wife, Sandy and son Tony Adams of Leesburg, Fl; son Herbert Adams of Richmond, Indiana; step-daughter Samantha Watford and her husband David Watford of Summerfield, FL; Step-son Bryan Williams of Leesburg, FL; step-son Ricky Rakes of Leesburg, FL; Sister Barbara Wheeler of Leesburg FL; sister Christine Dempsey of Leesburg FL; sister Mickey Bragg of Portal, GA; sister Nina Hortan of Ray City, GA; sister Judy Roberts of Ray City, GA; brother Eddie Adams of Portal, GA; brother Dave Adams of Leesburg, FL; Bob Adams of Portal, GA; Cecil Adams of Portal, GA; nine Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren, and two Great- Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
