Reverend John Martin was born July 8, 1923 in Ozark Arkansas and passed away on March 5th 2017 in Huntsville Ar.

He was a WWII veteran where he served in the United States Navy, and a member of the Huntsville Masonic lodge #364. He was a pastor for over 68 years and the founder of the New Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God in Baldwin, Ar.

He is proceeded in death by his wife of 70 years, Maggie Martin. His parents Chester and Easter Martin, One son- Larry Dawn Martin, One Daughter Linda Sue Martin, Two sisters Dora Tyson, and Clara Stacy, and One Great Grandson Larry James Kilpatrick.

Survivors Include: One Sister, Pearlie Bowman of Ozark Arkansas, One son, Johnny Martin of Alma Arkansas, One Daughter-in-law June Martin- Baker and Husband Bobby Baker of Huntsville Ar. Two Grandsons: John Edward And wife Sandra Martin and Danny and wife Vicki Martin. Two Grandaughters: Melissa and husband Kenneth Watkins and Lori and husband Jason Kilpatrick. Eleven Great Grand Children: Charae and Husband Matt Cleaver, Kenzi Watkins, Shayleigh and Husband Dewell Bryant, Blake Martin, Jerisa Martin, Brock Martin, John Henry Martin, Robbert Joseph Martin, Alex Kilpatrick, Ashlyn Kilpatrick, and Jadyn Kilpatrick. One great-great granddaughter: Hayven Bryant and One Great-Great Grandson: Mosston Cleaver.

Funeral services will be at Brashears funeral chapel in Huntsville Ar, on March 9th at 10 am with reverend C.E. Simpson and Reverend Phil Redding Presiding. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers Include: Danny Martin, John Edward Martin, Kenneth Watkins, Jason Kilpatrick, Larry Branstetter, and Johnny Case.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Arkansas.
