NORTH ATTLEBORO – Marion R. (Johnson) Watson, 99, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2017 at Madonna Manor in North Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Russell A. Watson for 63 years until his death in 1999. Born in Mansfield, MA on September 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William and Hattie (Perry) Johnson.

Marion lived in North Attleboro since the age of 12. She married her husband, Russell, in 1936 and together they had two children, Janice Lacasse, who passed away in 2015 and Patricia Turner of Smyrna, GA. The rest of her family included 3 grandchildren, Scott Hood of New Hampshire, David Hood, deceased, and Bonnie Frazier of Mansfield , 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and another one due any day.

She worked as a housekeeper and later as caregiver for Mrs. Miller of Millers Department Store in North Attleboro.

Visiting hours will be at Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro followed by a funeral service at which the Rev. Ethel Corbin will officiate. Burial will follow at Paine Cemetery, North Attleboro MA.
