Janet Mae Driver age 17 of Burkeville, VA passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
She was born in Farmville, VA on September 15, 1999.
She was a senior at Nottoway High School and enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, “going muddin” and softball. She was in the NJRTC program, liked going drag racing with her uncle, her favorite word was “Drivers Pride”. She was a country girl and always wore camouflage (even to prom) but participated in beauty pageants to raise money for Cancer research. She was a lovely person who liked to make you laugh she love spending time with Cody he was her world, she loved him very much.
She is survived by her mother Sibyl Martin, father Randy Martin Sr, sister Candace King, brother Randy Martin Jr, grandmother Virgie Driver, grandpa Morgan King, grandma Brenda King Step dad Chris King, step mother Martha Long, uncles; Gerald Driver Jr, Jimmy Driver, Robert Driver, Kevin King Sr, Mikey King, Allen King, Darly King, Earl Atkins, Johnny Harvey, aunts; Lynn Keen, Melissa Harvey, Bridgette Atkins, Jennifer King, Christy King, cousin Douglas Driver, boyfriend Cody Powell and Angie, Chad Powell.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Gerald Driver.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00PM in Nottoway County High School with interment to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Burkeville. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Puckett Funeral Home form 5:00PM – 8:00PM.
