FAG member Jack McGill submitted a short notice about Mary's death published in the Chicago Tribune newspaper. Instead of posting the short notice, I located her full obituary from the local newspaper and have printed it.
From the "Star Courier"
Monday November 30, 1936 edition
page 5:
"Cambridge - Mrs. Mary Bennett, 80, died at 8:45 this morning at her home on East Illinois Street.
She was born August 25, 1850 in Lincolnshire, England.
She was married to Edward Bennett on February 7, 1870(?) and came to the United States in 1875(?).
Her husband died January 8, 1912.
She was a member of the Church of England and of the Cambridge Congregational Church until it disbanded.
Surviving are the following sons and daughters:
George, Chester S.D.;
John, Cambridge;
Mrs. Mary Story, Coloma, S.D.;
and
Mrs. Sadie White, Winner, S.D.
There also survive 16 grandchildren and
21 great grandchildren.
Four sons and two daughters preceded her in death.
The body was taken to Gustafson Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements."

"Cambridge - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bennett, who died yesterday morning, will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Gustafson Funeral Home with Rev. Mr. J.M. Jones of the Cambridge Baptist Church in charge of the service.
Rev. and Mrs. Jones will sing.
Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery."

NOTE: A ? behind a date notes a difference between her obituary and her husband's obituary.
