Harvey Merle Bjornaas, age 88, passed away comfortably at home on January 11, 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Winna Fred Ballard Bjornaas; daughter, Joy Marie Eddleman; son, Glenn Roy and wife, Anita Gail Bjornaas; daughter, Mary Jo and husband, Darrell Dall; grandchildren, Shannon and Jimmy Summerlin, Erik and Hayley Bjornaas, Kyle and Kristi Bjornaas, Randi and James Hearn, Kelly and Malcolm Pettigrew, Aaron and Veronica Eddleman; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

A graduate of Milby High School and Texas Tech University, Harvey worked his entire career as a Mechanical Engineer and Manager of Patents with Continental Emsco which later became Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. His loyalty to God, family and work topped with a wonderful sense of humor are a rare find today.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Servants of Christ UMP-Park Place Campus, located at 3827 Broadway, Houston, TX 77017. Inurnment to follow at a later date at South Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Servants of Christ Memorial Fund.
