Juanita Bonnette Jordan, age 93 of Carderwoody Road, Statesville, passed away, Sunday February 19, 2017 at Gordon Hospice House. She was born July 13, 1923 in Iredell County to the late Leonard Erastus Jordan and Eula Kate Sprinkle Jordan. She retired from the Bali/ Sara Lee Company. She loved her church, New Prospect Baptist Church, was secretary there for 72 years and a faithful member. She cared for and loved her family and was known for her caring spirit for others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Edna Ruth J. Millsaps, Katherine J. Emery, Elwanda Sue Jordan, Leonard Harold Jordan and Eula Jordan Wiker.

She is survived by her nephews, David Millsaps and wife Leslie, Kent Jordan and wife Sandra; her nieces, Karen Weatherman and husband Lloyd, Deborah Johnson and husband Jeffrey, Kathy Sparks and husband Ricky; and many great nephews and great nieces.

A graveside service will be conducted 3:00pm Tuesday February 21, 2017 at New Prospect Baptist Church. Rev. Josh Byrd will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
