Mike is survived by his parents, Joe Ray and Lois Darlene Laney of Rosharon, Texas; daughter, Jessica Laney Owens and huband, Billy Owens of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandsons, Lincoln Owens and Finnegan Owens; brother, Jeff Laney (Kelly Turner) of Hitchcock, Texas; sister, Kimberly Laney Russell and husband, Steven Russell of Rosharon, Texas; nephew, Cody Laney (Alyssa Garza) of Marion, Texas; niece, Blair Laney Bridges and husband, Dustin Bridges of Brazoria, Texas; great-niece, Braylynn Bridges; and great-nephew, Braxton Bridges.
Mike is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ishmael Laney and Emma Frances Laney, Grover Mallory and Polly Mallory.
