Dr. Thomas E. Peck 84, of Mechanicsburg died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Messiah Village.

Dr. Peck was born in Harrisburg and was the son of the late John and Lucille (Lavary) Peck. He was retired from West Shore School District, where he was a psychologist. He was Co Founder of Capital Area Beekeepers Assn. and Co Chairman of the Susquehanna Korean War Memorial. He was a member of Penbrook Sportsman's Club, Austin, Pa., Pa. Psychological Assn. and the Susquehanna High School Alumni Assn. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the U.S. Army.

Dr. Peck was predeceased by his son, Thomas Michael Peck.

Dr. Peck is survived by his wife of 64 years, Arlene Hawkins Peck; his daughter, Patti Olenick of Sunbury; his son, Terry (Kim) Peck of Carlisle; his grandchildren, Garrett Thomas (Rebecca) Peck of Pueblo, Colorado, Samantha (Gaylan) Carl of Harrisburg and Terry Michael Peck of Carlisle; his great grandchildren, Abigail Elizabeth Carl, Oliver Thomas Peck and Gavin DeHaven; his sister, Peggy Shultz of Detroit, Michigan.

A Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
