She was born July 18, 1908, in Wheaton, to Frank and Katheryn Siddens Pinick. She graduated from high school in Wheaton. She lived in Topeka for 63 years before moving to Lawrence two years ago.
She married Franklin E. Adams on May 31, 1928, in Holton. He died in 1989. A son, Dale F. Adams, died in 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Adams, Lawrence; three grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Adams will lie in state after 1 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Funeral Home. Relatives and friends will meet after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Chapel.
