Rita Blankenship, 67 of Trenton, Tennessee died on Friday, March 3, 2017, at her residence in Trenton, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, January 15, 1950 in Manila, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Earl Barbee and the late Rosabell Lane Barbee.
Mrs. Blankenship was a homemaker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Blankenship will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Shaun Hawks and Bro. Eugene Roberts. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Union Grove Cemetery near Lexington, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, Earnest Ables of Trenton, Tennessee; one son, Ronnie Stafford of Portageville, Missouri; one daughter, Regina Patterson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three brothers, Roger Barbee of LaCenter, Kentucky, Gene Barbee of Galveston, Texas and Talmadge Barbee of Mason Hall, Tennessee; four sisters, Patsy Jones of Tigrett, Tennessee, Judy Woods of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Darlene McCurdy of Troy, Tennessee and Cheryl Newman of Ripley, Tennessee; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Edward Barbee and Tony Lane Barbee and one sister, Sheila Joyce Barbee.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
