In loving memory of Arlene Marie Moscon Allingham who returned to her Heavenly Father on March 6th 2017 at the Frontier Rehabilitation & Extended Care Center, Longview WA at the age of 88 years. Born to Cora Florence Sloan in Los Angeles, California on August 25, 1928. She performed as an extra in the “Our Gang” - Little Rascals movies in the early 1930's. Her family moved to Windsor, Sonoma County, CA in the mid 1930’s because of the Great Depression where her Great Uncle “Billy” Sloan lived after her grandfather, John Mason Sloan, was injured on his painting job. Shortly afterwards her Mother married Oscar Harrington who was a member a pioneer family in the Knights Valley (Alexander Valley) CA area. There she formed a loving attachment to her new Grandmother Jennie Harrington. She moved to Stockton CA during World War Two where her Mother worked at the Stockton docks loading armaments on ships. Arlene met her first husband, Fred C. Moscon Sr, in the early 1940’s in Santa Rosa CA, they married December of 1944 in Stockton CA. The family lived in Oakland till 1949 when they moved to the Box M Ranch in Windsor CA. When the new 101 freeway took out most of the buildings on the ranch in 1959 the family moved to Sebastopol CA where they purchased the Evergreen Café/Bar. They divorced in 1961 in Sebastopol CA. She then married James Perry in 1966, they divorced shortly after. She met Edward Carson Allingham in the early 1970’s while working as a home nurse for his Aunt in Santa Rosa CA, they married in the late 1980’s. She relocated to live with her daughter, Kitty Jo, in Longview WA after Eddie’s passing. She was preceded in death by her mother Cora Vassar (1999), her Step Father Mervin Vassar (1978), her loving husband Eddy Allingham (1996), her sons Fred C. Moscon Jr (1974-making her a Gold Star Mother), Danny O. Moscon (2009), son-in-law, Jesse Carterby (2007) and great-grandson Christopher Joseph Taylor (2007) . She is survived by her daughters Florence Moscon (Joseph), Fremont CA, Mary Tracy (Dana), Yerington, NV, Kitty Jo Carterby, Castle Rock WA, Kathy-Jean Hegwine (Robert), Kelso WA. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. She was a long time resident of Santa Rosa CA and was a member of the American Legion there before moving to Longview WA. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
