Valerie Young Wallace, 44 of Aberdeen, Idaho passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at her home in Aberdeen, Idaho
She was born on February 14, 1973 in Blackfoot, Idaho the daughter of Owen D. Young and Brenda Annette Young.
She attended Snake River and Aberdeen Schools. She had lived the past 10 years in Aberdeen.
Valerie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed needle point, plastic canvas, fishing, hunting, camping, going for drives, four-wheeling, and loved horses and animals.
She is survived by her father, Owen Young of Pingree; husband, Mike Wallace of Aberdeen; sons, Issac Dawson and Jared Dawson of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Tonya Dawson of Aberdeen; brothers, Gary (Trina) Young of Chubbuck and Jody (Ida) Young of Pocatello; sister, Jessica (Edward) Stacey of Pocatello; grandparents, Virginia Young of Blackfoot and step-grandfather, Jose (Martin) Elquezabal of Aberdeen.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Young; grandmother, Blanche Elquezabal and a daughter, April Brantner.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Hawker Funeral Home.
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service.
Cremation services will follow under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
