She was a homemaker and a special Mother. She enjoyed reading, spring flowers and gardening, traveling on short trips with the love of her life Harold. She would enjoy fishing from the shores on Rainy Lake and many trips to Red Lake to the camper bus that Harold had built for her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Tschabold; husband, Harold Graves and mother, Hilma Viger; step-father; Herb Viger; sisters, Mildred “Millie” (Conrad) Underdahl and Betty Lou Carlson.
Shirley is survived by her sons: Darrell (Marilyn) and Bruce (Carolyn); daughter, Cheryl (friend Duane “Dewey” Hammel) Graves; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and special niece, Bonnie Wickstrom and family.
