Amelia Sophie Anibal, 76, the widow of Robert S. Anibal, died the morning on Feb 1, 1939 at her home, 31 Orchard Street. She had been an invalid since the day after the Armistice was signed in 1918. Amelia was born in Garoga on November 23, 1863. When she was a young girl she taught school at Meco. She was a member of St. James Lutheran church.

Amelia was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Katharine Conover, and Mrs. Chester L. Benedict; one brother, George Karg of Johnstown and one grandson, Wolford Conover. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
