Sheryl passed away in her home in Riverside, CA with friends on Friday night, March 3, 2017.
Sheryl was born on a farm in Nebraska and was preceded in death by her husband John. E. Young in 2014.
She is survived by two children, three brothers, four stepchildren, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all experienced the love and joy she so effortlessly spread in all that she did.
She was a public school teacher at the Alvord School District for 22 years before achieving her life-dream of owning the antique store, Old Glory General Store, in downtown Riverside.
She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Her celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 13 at 4 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Riverside.
