Born July 22, 1959, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas the son of the late Harvey and Carolita Kirby Montgomery and was a longtime area resident.
Mr. Montgomery was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers. Mr. Montgomery also enjoyed going to church every Sunday, wood-working, fixing up things, watching westerns and listening to country music. Most important, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Dean Montgomery Jr. and wife Libby of Mammoth Springs and Stephen Ryan Montgomery and wife Hailey of Paragould; four daughters, Candice Jackson and husband Kevin and Heather Diles and husband Clinton, all of Jonesboro, and Hannah Raeshell Montgomer and Kelsee Dezerai Montgomery, both of Bono; four brothers, Kenneth Montgomery, Sam Montgomery, Bill Montgomery and James Montgomery; and one sister, Shelia Brogdon. Mr. Montgomery also leaves eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn Alexis Jackson, Colleen Abigail Jackson, Harley Cheyenne Montgomery, Chandler Alan Diles, Conner Bryce Diles, Destiny Faith Diles, Kasen Eli James Boness and Liam Joel Michael Boness.
Graveside funeral services were held in the Bishops Cemetery in Jonesboro. Faith Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.
