Charles Fletcher Sayers, the little baby son of Mr. and Mrs. Ch. H. Sayers died at this place at 1:35 o'clock p.m., Monday, February 10, 1908, after an illness of 17 days with pneumonia. The little one was born Sept. 28th and for an all too brief period had gladdened the hearts and the home of its fond parents when, like a bud plucked from its parent stem, it was taken from this earthly vale to blossom in paradise. The little body was buried in the new cemetery at this place on the day following its death. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of all who know them in their sad bereavement.
