Ralph L. Howell, of Staten Island N.Y, passed away February 25, 2017. He was 79.
Born December 28, 1937 in Cecil County, he was the son of the late James Price Howell Sr. and Margaret Arlene Howell.
Ralph grew up in Principio Furnace, MD. He moved to NY in 1955, where he lived and raised his family. Ralph enjoyed music, especially country, and loved to write songs.
He leaves behind one granddaughter, Arlene Howell of Staten Island, NY, whom he loved and adored. He is also survived by two sisters, Iona Ledford of Holtwood whom he looked foward to Thursday night phone calls with,PA. and Pearl Blakeley of Rising Sun, MD. One sister-in-law, Jean Howell, of Central Bridge, NY. and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his two children; Steven and Donna Howell. Also, brothers; Jim, Herbert, Eugene, Leon, William and sisters; Ethel Blakeley and Geraldine Howell
Services for Ralph were held at the convenience of the family on March 3, 2017, with burial following at the Bethel Church Cemetery, Bethel Church Rd. North East, MD.
