Barbara J. Stettenbenz, age 69, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on March 3, 2017. Mrs. Stettenbenz was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Among those that preceded her in death include her mother, Mary Catherine Boyd Sisk; father, Charles Bishop; and brother, Greg Sisk. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 50 years, John Stettenbenz; daughters, Cheri Stettenbenz and Linda Stettenbenz; grandchildren, Chantelle Patton and Travis Jackson; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Patton and Mason Simpson; sister, Susan Hay; and brother, Jeffrey Sisk.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery.
