Peru, Indiana-April 14--Mrs. Cynthia A. Chaplin, 75, died at her home north of New Waverly at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mrs Chaplin had been ill for the past three months from complication of diseases, mainly cancer of the liver.
Surviving are one son, Omer Imes of New Waverly, and four brothers and sisters, John H. Cooper of Rochester, James M. Cooper, 226 West Second Street, Peru; Mrs. Mary Woodside of Detroit, and Mrs. Cassie Porter of Chicago. Mrs. Chaplin was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held from the Hammond-Jackson funeral home Monday at 2:30 o'clock, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery
