Jeffrey Adam Newton was born July 16, 1962, in Fort Scott, Kansas to Paul and Jennie (Zembal) Newton. He married Dawnel Sue Olinger on November 14, 1981 in Hugoton, Kansas. Jeff died October 5, 2015.

He loved his family and particularly loved playing with his young grandchildren. He also loved fishing, hunting, and grilling for his family and friends and also enjoyed John Wayne movies.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marlene Newton, and a brother, Scott Newton.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Dawnel of Rolla, KS, his son Jeffrey Adam II (Jessi Leigh Peek) of Rolla, KS, his daughter, Starburst Dawn Murphy (Mark) and his grandsons Liam Austin Murphy and Case Lincoln Murphy, of Wichita, KS. Other survivors include a sister Paulette Albright (Richard) of Ft Scott, KS and a brother, Paul J (Sondra) Newton of Ft Scott, KS.

Services were held Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the First Christian Church in Hugoton, KS.
