Wesley L. Horner, 87, of Northwood, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Weeksbury, Kentucky to Elmer and Gladys (Lewis) Horner on June 20, 1929. Wes worked many years for the CSX Railroad and married Mary “Claudia” Maiden. He was a member of the Masons and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Wes is survived by his wife, Claudia; sons, Wesley Jr. (Alice) Horner, Ron (Cheryl) Horner, Chuck (Kate) Horner; daughters, Sue Krueger, Sandra (James Baker) Horner, Shirley Norris; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and brothers, Elmer (Rosella) Horner, Billy Jo (JoAnn) Horner.
Friends will be received on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge (419-666-3121). A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Toledo Blade March 5, 2017
