Marilyn E. Walters, age 85, of Manitowoc, WI peacefully joined her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

She was born in Two Rivers, WI on April 23, 1932 (Shirley Temple's birthday) to the late Elmer (Jake) and Birdeena Bohm and graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers, WI with the Class of 1950. She married the late Richard Walters on July 25, 1953, and they had three children. Marilyn worked at various manufacturing companies in the community and retired from Aitken-Reed, Inc. She enjoyed bowling, ice skating, golfing, coordinating activities at the Manitowoc Senior Center, leading the EZ Does It Line Dancers, singing (especially her infamous birthday song), personalizing her own birthday cards, and most of all socializing with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two daughters: Dawn Seiler (significant other Jerry Franz) and Janis (Tom) Fischer; five granddaughters: Nichole (Jesse) Patrick, Crystal (Jason) Selsing, Lindsay (David) Koch, Carlee Walters, and Jacqulyn Walters; 14 great-grandchildren: Jordan, Devon, Jensen, Kaeden, Ethan, Tayjia, Isaiah, Brynn, Aivyn, Jailynn, Jayden, Connor, Brennan, and Bryson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and many, many, many friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by one son: Brian Walters; one grandson: Jacob Walters; and four siblings: Bethel (Irene) Bohm, Dona (Elwood) Rieck, Norrine (Duane) Swoboda, and Norris Bohm.

Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Memorial Service will be the Rev. Zachary DeArmond. Marilyn will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, from 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 until 11:45 a.m.
