On July 15, 2009, age 85, longtime Haddonfield resident, husband of Carolyn (nee Smith) and of the late Gloria (nee Stetser). Also survived by 2 children, Steve (Fran) Berger and Sharon McIntyre, 2 step daughters, Joan (John) Collins, Susan (Bob) Hargrave, 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Melanie and Mary, and 1 great grandchild. Mr. Berger served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He had been a Past President of the Lions Club and a member of Tavistock Country Club. Mr. Berger’s family will receive friends on Monday, July 20th, after 10 AM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave, Haddonfield, NJ. Services will follow at 11 AM. Interment, Eglington Cem, Clarksboro, NJ. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in Mr. Berger’s name to either of the Churches he had actively volunteered with during his lifetime: St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 327 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 or to Embury United Methodist
