Obituary from flammfh.com:
Carol B. Clements, 90, passed away on March 4, 2017, in Rexburg, Idaho of causes incident to age.
Carol was born July 20, 1926 in Castle Dale, Utah to Lee and Aurora Burk Bunnell. She was the oldest of 3 children. Shortly after her birth her father was hired as a telegrapher for the Southern Pacific Railroad. This impacted Carol's life greatly. She and her brother, Wendell, were often the only children in many railroad sidings. Consequently, she learned to read at an early age and, as a child, one could always find her draped over the arm of a chair reading a book. Later, they were joined by a baby sister, Mona.
She graduated from high school in 1944 in Wells, Nevada and started college at Marin Junior College in San Francisco, then graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's degree. Later she earned a Master's degree in Educational Psychology also from BYU.
She came to Rexburg to teach at Madison High School. After one year, she was called on a mission to Norway. Upon her return, she met Ross Kay Clements, and they were married on June 15, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple. After their children were grown, she and Ross served a mission to Perth, Western Australia. They also served as ordinance workers in the Idaho Falls temple and enjoyed their many friendships there. She worked for Ricks College for some time as a counselor and taught art for elementary teachers.
She leaves this life loving six children: Rick (Rosann) Clements, Bart (Tami) Clements, Leigh (Mark) Hawes, Kathleen (Kerry) Mower, Marian (Kent) Hayes and Max (Melanie) Clements, 35 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren (with two more coming soon), and many friends. Her sister, Mona Low, of Richmond, Missouri, also survives her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, brother, half-sister, Pauline Chase, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the Hibbard LDS Chapel, 2001 North 3000 West, with Bishop David Peck officiating. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
She expressed many times her gratitude for her good neighbor and doctor, Dr. Scott Hardy, and the staff at Carriage Cove.
