82, of Morrilton passed away on Tuesday, June 07, 2016. .
Troy was born March 16, 1934 to the late Charles and Letha Chandler in Morrilton, AR.
He was a military man for 7 years. After basic training at Ft. Riley, Kansas he went to paratrooper school at Ft. Benning, Georgia. He served 3 years in Germany and after returning to the states he went to the Elite Air Borne division and later returned to Ft. Benning, Georgia as an air trooper instructor, he was also senior paratrooper for the Army Rangers. Buddy also loved to turkey hunt and fish.
In 1951 he married Mary Louise Bailey and together they had four children: Troy Chandler and wife Virginia of Russellville, Carol Wyant and husband David of Scott; Jackie Don Chandler and wife Melinda of Solgohachia, Earl Lynn Chandler and wife Hiromi of Japan; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Services will be 9:00AM Friday, June 10, 2016 at the chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
