Barbara E. Beal age 76, of Willow Lake Estates, Elgin former many year resident of East Dundee passed away suddenly on Monday evening at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Barbara was born on February 22, 1939 in Connellsville, PA and was the daughter of the late Harry R. & Anna J. (nee Faidley) Raygor. On February 16, 1957 she married Harry H. Beal. Harry preceded Barbara in death on August 5, 2012 after 55 years of marriage. Barbara was a resident of the Dundee-Elgin areas for the past 50 years and a former many year employee of Otto Engineering. Following retirement Barbara attended Judson University’s Senior Recreation Programs and was a member of the Willow Lakes Ceramics Club. Barbara was a many year member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee and currently was attending the Harvest Bible Chapel in Elgin. Survivors include her sons: Gregory (Kim), David (Debbie) and Christopher Beal. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Joshua, Andrea and Kelvin. Other survivors include her brother: Robert (Sharon) Raygor; her nieces and nephews as well as many friends. At Barbara’s request she will be cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee with the Rev. William P. Yonker, Senior Pastor officiating. The Beal family will be receiving friends at the church from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
