Kathy Darlene Coleman, age 55, of Simpsonville passed away on Thursday April 5, 2012. She was born on July 31, 1956 in Woodruff, SC, to Henry Thomas and Etta Mae Owens Weathers. Kathy was a loving and caring nurse, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved life and enjoyed baking cakes.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband Rick Coleman, her daughter Kimberly Theis and her husband Brad of Phoenix, AZ, her daughter Emily Coleman and her fiancé Jeremy Harvey of Simpsonville, her son Adam Coleman and his wife Toni of Hawaii, her brothers J.B. Weathers of Ellijay, GA, Willie R. Weathers of Woodruff, SC, Donald L. Weathers of Greer, SC and Bobby G. Weathers of Travelers Rest, SC, her sisters Louise W. Giles of Rock Hill, SC, Ruby W. Hughes of Laurens, SC, Mary W Crawford of Woodruff, SC, and Sharon W. Porter of Enoree, SC, as well as five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Gene and Maxie Weathers.
Family will receive friends on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Cannon Memorial Park Funerals & Cremations in Fountain Inn, SC. A Funeral Service celebrating Kathy's life will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 11:00am at Cannon Memorial Park Funerals & Cremations Chapel in Fountain Inn, SC. Interment will follow at Knighton Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery, 2122 Knighton Chapel Rd. in Laurens, SC.
