Mrs. Jane Chapman Marshall, 78, of Hwy 27 N, Roopville, GA passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011. Mrs. Marshall was born in Decatur, GA on December 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Wyman L. Chapman and Margaret Rhodes Chapman. Before retiring, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Tanner Medical Center. Mrs. Marshall was a member of Stripling Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Marshall, sons, Steve Marshall of Bremen, Mike Marshall of Roopville, Tim Marshall of Carrollton, John Marshall of Franklin, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and sister, Ann Chapman of Decatur. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Chapman. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22 at 2 P. M. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. John Marshall and Rev. Don Landen officiating. Pallbearers will be Ben Marshall, Kyle Marshall, John Marshall, Jr., Mitchell Marshall, Eric Brown, and Matthew Hall. Interment will be in the Welcome Methodist Church Cemetery in Heard County with Rev. Tim Marshall officiating.
