Born in Oconee County, he was the son of the late Lawrence Andrew Brown and Helen Marie Smith Jennings and was a carpenter. Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Kimberly Brown; son, Jesse Masterson; stepson, Andrew Roach; brothers, Greg and Tim Brown; sister, April Hightower; three grandsons; and his second mother, Patricia Holbrooks. A funeral service will be held 11 am, Saturday, September 12, 2015 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in First Baptist Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, Saturday, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
