Mr. Marvin Brewer, 66, of Richton, MS passed from this life Friday, March 3, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Wayne County on Saturday, June 24, 1950 to William Wesley Brewer and Zella Brewer. Marvin was a member of Hickory Grove Holiness Church and had worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for U. S. Forestry. Mr. Brewer is preceded in death by his father, William Wesley Brewer and mother, Zella Brewer; 5 brothers, Benny Brewer, Wesley Brewer, J. C. Brewer, Narvel Brewer, Lloyd Brewer; sister, Pearlie Haley. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Brewer (Lori) and Devin Brewer (Alexis), both of Richton; daughters, Angelia Clark (Dane) of Waynesboro, Tonya Gainey (Jonathan) of Richton; sisters, Hester Lee Crawford of Petal; Erma Lee Broome of Petal, Martha Cooley of Clara; 6 grandchildren, Justin Brewer, Megan McCarty, Shelby Brazell, Haley Clark, Addison Gainey, Avery Brewer; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob Brazell, Payton Brazell, Bransyn Brewer, Aulbrie Brewer. Visitation for Marvin will begin at 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Hickory Grove Holiness Church, 872 Brewertown Road, Richton, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 6, 2017 at Hickory Grove Holiness Church with Rev. Evan Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Cross Road Cemetery, Richton, MS.
