Mr. Herman G. Alofs, aged 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away in Bradenton, Fla., Thursday morning. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; his children, Gaylord and Bena Alofs of Dutton, Fernley and Eleanor Alofs of Hudsonville, Jucille and Norman VanLangen of Kentwood, Annetta and Donald VanderJagt of Anchorage, Alaska, Geneva and David Atkins of Des Moine [sic], Iowa; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
