Evelyn Grimes Meyer, 92, of Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab Center and formerly of Pembroke, died at 1:03 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with the Rev. Andy Haley officiating.
Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West.
A native of Pembroke, she was born Feb. 26, 1925, the daughter of the late Oscar Rice Grimes and Rosa Lee Grubbs Grimes. She was a homemaker and a member of Pembroke Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harold M. Meyer, Pembroke; her son, Norman Meyer, Elkton; her daughter, Brenda Meyer Orten, Hopkinsville; her sister, Dorothy Nel Grimes Vannoy, Ocala, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
