Paul Richard Kent, Sr of Fredericksburg, passed away at the age of 96. Born in Linton, Indiana December 16, 1920, the son of Edward E. & Hazel M. Beaman Kent. He resided in Bloomington, IN from the age of 2 until his military service in WWII. After the war he resided in Biloxi with his first wife, Anna Mae Pons Kent. God, family & country were the most important part of Paul's life, he was very proud of his family.
Services will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly in Biloxi. Interment will follow at Southern Memorial Park with military honors.
January 4, 2006, Paul from Biloxi, Mississippi married Rosalee Ratliff Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalee R. Kent of Fredericksburg, TX, 2 daughters & sons-in-law Hazel M. (Kent) & Leroy Cheary of Universal City, TX, and Darla J. (Kent) Maxwell of Richland Hills, TX, a son Paul R. Kent Jr. of Biloxi, 2 step-daughters, Kay L. (Kent) & John C. Milinowicz of Fredericksburg, TX, and Beverly A. Wiggins of Ocala, FL, 2 step-sons, David E. Jones of Fredericksburg and Robert G. Jones of Fishers, IN. Also 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren & 35 great-great grandchildren.
Survivors also include a brother & sister-in-law Vernon L. & Betty Kent of Biloxi, a sister LaVonna (Kent) Wiley of Bloomington, IN.
Paul was preceded in death by his first wife Anna Mae Pons Kent, his parents, three sisters, Norma (Kent) & husband Jay Collins, Gail Kent Chrusciel & Virginia Kent, two brothers Harold L. Kent & Joseph E. Kent. Also, his in-laws Wm. Lee & Lilly Ratliff of Bloomington, IN and Anthony & Marguerite Pons of Biloxi.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Lake Christian Assembly, Biloxi, Police Family Survivors Fund or charity of choice .
