John D. Moyes, 77, of 729 17th St., Rock Island, died this morning in St. Anthony's Hospital.
Services will be at 10 Saturday morning in the Knox-Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Noble A. Bolinger of Nichols, Iowa, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Masonic services will be at 7:30 Friday evening in the funeral home conducted by Trio Lodge 57, AF & AM. Friends may call after 7 tomorrow evening.
Mr. Moyes was born in Fort Madison. Iowa and married Freada (sic) S. Mahan Dec. 17, 1927, in Monmouth.
He was employed at International Harvester Co., Farmall Works for 30 years, retiring in 1968. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are the widow; a son, John W., and two grandsons, all of Rock Island; two brothers, Rollin and Elmer of Paradise, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Cook of Davenport and Mrs. Carl Fleming in California.
A son preceded him in death.
