Kevin P. Sherman, 52, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017.Â
Born in Providence, he was the son of Ronald F. Sherman and Ellen C. Sherman of Glocester. Mr. Sherman was a licensed welder/plumber & pipefitter for over 30 years. He lived in Glocester most of his life before moving to No. Providence in 2012. He was a graduate of St. Philip School and a 1983 graduate of LaSalle Academy. Kevin loved dogs and enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. In addition to his parents, he was the brother of Owen F. Sherman, Maryellen T. Hagerty, John T. Sherman, and Elizabeth A. Reichardt. He was the companion of Carla Schaffer. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, Monday at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visitation is respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kevin P. Sherman, and in support of Roger Williams Cancer Center, can be made to Charter Care Foundation, 7 Waterman Ave., N. Providence, RI 02911.
