Vanessa Greene Young, 52, passed away January 18, 2007 at home in Memphis, TN.
She was born April 17, 1954 to Earlie Howard Stanford and Josie Greene Billingsley in Chicago, IL. She moved to Memphis in 1989.
In 1970 Vanessa was united in marriage to Earnest Young and to this union two children were born. Vanessa was loved and respected by many.
Vanessa was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 798 Kane County, Aurora, IL.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 12 p.m. at James' Chapel. Visitation will be at James from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. James Funeral Service is serving the family. 630-851-6503
