He was born November 26, 1927 in Mabscott, West Virginia, to Perry and Hessie (Lewis) Hall. Perry worked for Local 18 as a crane operator for over 40 years. A veteran of the United States Army, he served at Goose Bay, Labrador in World War II.
A member of the Taylortown Community Church, he enjoyed fishing at Lake Erie and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Perry is survived by his son, Danny (Judy) Hall of Chillicothe; two grandchildren Renee (Shawn) Wheeler and Kiley (Wesley) Tull, both of Chillicothe; five great-grandchildren and five sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lois Hall; two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Rev. O. Douglas Tackett will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery where Military Honors will be conducted.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Taylortown Community Church at 2656 Taylortown Road, Shelby, Ohio, 44875.
