She was born in LaGrange County, Indiana on December 12, 1942 to the late Oliver Draper and Julia Wilson Draper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Larry, Jerry and Edward Draper. Janet served her country in the United States Navy. She was a homemaker.
Surviving relatives include her husband Glenn W. Godfrey, Jr.; her son Steven Godfrey and wife Kristina of Sanford; her daughter Deborah Ann Godfrey of Nicholasville, Kentucky; brother Jack D. Draper of Weidman, Michigan. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Melody, Samantha and David Godfrey.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. The graveside service will be Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Center United Methodist Church cemetery at 2:00 PM with Pastor Vernon Riggins officiating.
