Mrs. Ida M. Renn, 101, of Frederick, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at College View Nursing Center.

Mrs. Ida M. Renn was the wife of the late John H. Renn, who died Aug. 15, 1990. Born March 22, 1904 in Frederick, she was a daughter of the late Frank B. and Lillie I. Keefer. Mrs. Renn was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Frederick for over 50 years. In younger years, she was active in all areas of the church and was a member of the Missionary Society, Kitchen Angels and the Lutheran Church Women. Mrs. Renn was also active in the Evangelical Lutheran Church School, a teacher in the Junior Dept. and later the first superintendent of the Primary Dept. She was a past member and president of Jug Bridge Homemakers of Frederick, a past member and president of Zonta Club of Frederick. Mrs. Renn was a 1922 graduate of the Girls High School of Frederick.

Mrs. Renn is survived by one son, Robert E. Renn and wife Beattie of Frederick; six grandchildren, Robert E. Renn Jr. and wife Mary Jo, John W. Renn and wife Kathy, Roberta M. Renn, James H. Renn and wife Susan, Thomas M. Renn and Richard C. Renn and wife Margaret; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Renn was preceded in death by one son, John Renn III.

Funeral services are private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31 E. Church St., Frederick, Md.
