She married Romalue Stanhope McCoy on March 30, 1893, and they resided in Mercer County, WV.
Her father, James B. Houchins, applied for the license and the uncle, Granville Houchins, performed the ceremony.
They had one daughter, Nannie Pearl, who was born on May 8, 1894.
After McCoy died, she married Walker Calfee on March 13, 1895 in Mercer County, WV, and they were the parents of Myrtle Alma and Hazel Violet.
