Michael Wayne Wilkins, 66, a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of Betty Wilkins and the late Robert Wilkins. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Carolina Tank Lines.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by the Rev. Jimmy Walker. Burial will be private.
Surviving are a daughter, Stacy Wilkins Clayton of Berea, a brother, Allen Wilkins of Stem, Bobby Wilkins of Virgilina, Va., two granddaughters and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will follow the memorial service at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
