Lula M. Taylor, 83, of Valparaiso passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. She was born December 16, 1933 in Lenox, TN to Floyd & Bobbie (Quinley) Hardin. Lula was a fun loving mom and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting afghans, drawing sketches, writing & singing songs and spoiling her dog, “Piper”. Lula married J. B. Taylor who preceded her in death in 1982. Survivors include their daughters, Kim (David) Walters of Valparaiso & Sherry (Ray) Carver of New Tazewell, TN, sisters, Dorothy Duke & Kathy Hardin Waller both of Tennessee, grandchildren: David (Sara) Walters, Daniel Walters, Abbey (Benjamin) Dunn, Amy (Sean) Horvath, Eric (Nancy) McKinley, Sara McKinley, Josh, Ashley, Angelica, Alberto Jeff & Jon Carver, and numerous great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Pam McKinley & Amanda Taylor.
