Anthony L. (Tony) Calvino was born in Whitehall, New York on September 29, 1921 to Pasquale and Theresa (Russo) Calvino. He passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 95. Tony resided in Los Banos from age 10 until he moved to Sunrise Assisted Living in Fresno in 2014. Tony was a World War II Veteran serving in the Army Air Corps.

He had several occupations over the years, but spent most his working life in the Agricultural Industry as a Licensed Pest Control Advisor and manager. Tony was a major blood donor and gave more than 10 gallons of blood over his lifetime. He also served on the Los Banos Safety Committee. His Family wants to sincerely thank the wonderful staff at Sunrise Assisted Living in Fresno for, the affectionate, loving care and friendship they provided Tony over the past three years.

Tony was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Harriet and two of his sons, Rick and Robert.

Tony is survived by three sons, Larry (Susan), Dennis and Steve, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.
